This artist book collection is inspired to value regeneration and accountability within design which respects planetary boundaries. Conscious material choice of plant based fibres, most significantly hemp, flax and nettle, are celebrated. Weaving, texture, muted colour, binding, wrapping and draping provokes appreciation for the truth of raw plant materiality and potential. Vital revaluation of the narrative of regenerative fibre is imposed through creation of the artist book, encouraging physical experience and allowing connection with materiality.
